Child Care Partnerships
Child care partnerships are a way to provide parents more choices for child care settings and to share Head Start and Early Head Start resources with community child care providers, either child care centers or home providers. Through these partnerships, providers receive resources, training, technical assistance through Head Start, and direct technical assistance and consultation by the OESD Early Learning staff. Providers receive professional development to help them improve their skills and meet STARS standards, and this training is provided based on the providers schedule and/or need.
